By public transport

Buses from Manchester city centre and Eccles
Number 67 to Liverpool Road, Irlam (runs every 12 mins peak and between every 15-30 mins off peak). The stadium is a two minute walk to the stadium from this stop.

Buses from the Trafford Centre (many services connect here from across the region)
Number 100 to Liverpool Road, Irlam. (runs every 12 mins peak and between every 15-30 mins off peak). The stadium is a two minute walk to the stadium from this stop.

Trams
The nearest Metrolink tram stop is Eccles. From here the stadium is approximately 40 minutes’ walk or take the number 67 bus along Liverpool Road (as above).

Train
The nearest train stations are Irlam and Patricroft. From both stations, walk to Liverpool Road and take the number 67 bus (as above).

Parking

At the stadium
The stadium offers 600 free* car parking spaces in close proximity to the stadium, including accessible and convenient disabled parking, as well as ample coach parking spaces for groups.

On match days, the 600 parking places on a permanent tarmac surface are mostly pre-booked by season ticket holders.

Matchday car parking tickets cost £5.00 per vehicle and must be pre-purchased at the stadium or through Ticketline up until 10.00pm the night before the game.

There is additional temporary parking available on extra gravelled areas which can be paid for on the day.

Alternative parking
A limited number of car parking spaces will be available on match days at City Airport (formerly Barton Aerodrome) and Salford City Academy

City Airport, M30 7SA is just a 10 minute walk from the stadium, while Salford City Academy, M30 7PQ.is approximately 20 minutes’ walk.

Park/Walk and ride

The cheapest and easiest way to get to Salford City Stadium is by using our park and ride services. All services are direct and cost £1 per journey.

The pick-up point is at the Trafford Centre. Buses will leave from the Event City car park near Barton Square

 

There is also a park/walk and ride service from The Willows

Buses will begin running 2 hours and 30 minutes before kick-off and will depart every 20 minutes, up until half an hour before the game starts.

Return journeys will depart the stadium after the final whistle; the last coach will leave 1 hour after the game. Coaches will drop off at designated points only (Trafford Centre and The Willows).
